las personas que han tenido un trabajo y han vivido bien (no
bien, sino de puta madre) y
de pronto se encuentran que le embargan la casa, que no tienen paro, hay unos

Aloe Blacc, nacido como Egbert Nathaniel Dawkins
III en Orange County, California, comenzó su carrera a mediados de los noventa
como rapero, participó en el proyecto Lootpack, publicaron 6 largas duraciones,
y emprendío carrera en solitario en 2006 - Shine Through -. En 2010 obtuvo
impulso con "Good Things", en la que está esta joyita.
"I Need A Dollar" se
ha hecho muy popular en Estados Unidos al ser la sintonía de "How To
Make It In America", comenzada a emitir en 2010 en HBO, una serie que
muestra a dos muchachos que tratan de triunfar en el mundo de la moda en Nueva
York.
Blacc comenta sobre la canción:
"Se trata de buscar una mano amiga, no necesariamente un apoyo financiero, Creo que
el capitalismo ha creado unaenorme disparidad psicológica entre los ricos y los pobres. Incluso las personas que tienen mucho están en una situación desesperada ".
Bueno, su
explicación es ciertamente discutible, pero la canción es estupenda, y de hecho
la letra no se corresponde mucho con lo que dice..
