La semana pasada compré la revista "Ruta 66", que incluye una lista con 25 canciones Power-Pop imprescindibles.
Además del buen gusto en la elección de los temas, hay que halagar que se comenten aspectos de cada uno de ellos.
Entre ellas está, "Friday On My Mind" de The Easybeats,
The Easybeats era un grupo que se generó en Australia, aunque ninguno de sus miembros lo era. Como curiosidad, el núcleo duro lo formaban Harry Vanda y George Young, el hermano mayor de los los dos líderes de AC/DC, que más tarde crearon ese maravilloso artefacto pop que fue Flash And The Pan (Temazos, temazos "Hey, St Peter" y "Walking In The Rain").
Total, que como es viernes, qué mejor ocasión para ofrecer una canción que habla del ansia por que llegue el finde.
